Trust isn't something we ask for. It's something we earn.

Terms & Conditions

These are the terms that govern how MITRR works and what we ask of you. We've written them the way we'd want to read them β€” clearly, directly, without anything hidden. If something here ever changes in a way that matters, we'll tell you.

What MITRR is

MITRR is a private space for honest conversation. It exists for the moments when something needs to be said out loud β€” not to a friend who might worry, not to a therapist who needs context, not to anyone who might remember it next week. Just somewhere to put it down.

MITRR is not therapy. It is not a substitute for professional mental health support. It is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline now.

In the US: 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline β€” call or text 988. In the UK: Samaritans β€” call 116 123, free, 24 hours.

Who can use MITRR

MITRR is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use the platform.

We also ask that you:

  • Use MITRR only for yourself β€” not on behalf of someone else.
  • Keep your account to yourself. One person, one account.
  • Show up as you are β€” don't impersonate someone else.
  • Use the platform the way it was intended: for honest personal reflection, not for anything that could harm yourself or others.

How sessions and pricing work

MITRR works on a per-session basis. There are no subscriptions, no recurring charges, and no hidden fees. You pay for the session you book. That's it.

Sessions are available in three lengths:

  • Begin β€” 20 minutes β€” $29
  • Unburden β€” 40 minutes β€” $49
  • Deep Exhale β€” 60 minutes β€” $79

If something goes wrong with a session on our end, contact us at support@mitrr.app and we'll make it right. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis β€” we'll always do what's fair.

What we ask of you

MITRR is a space built on honesty and safety. To keep it that way for everyone, we ask that you don't:

  • Use MITRR to harass, harm, or intimidate anyone.
  • Attempt to access, copy, or reverse engineer any part of the platform.
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with MITRR.
  • Do anything on MITRR that you wouldn't be comfortable doing in a room with someone you respect.

Violating these terms may result in your access being removed. We'll always act proportionately, but we reserve the right to protect the platform and the people who use it.

A space that stays safe

MITRR is built for honesty β€” but honesty within a space that remains safe for everyone. There are things that have no place here, and we want to be direct about what they are.

The following are not permitted on MITRR under any circumstances:

  • Sexual content of any kind β€” explicit, suggestive, or otherwise.
  • Content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers minors in any way. This is an absolute line with zero tolerance.
  • Content designed to manipulate, coerce, or cause psychological harm to another person.
  • Hate speech, discrimination, or content that demeans people based on who they are.
  • Anything that glorifies or encourages self-harm, suicide, or harm to others.

If we become aware of any of the above, we will remove access immediately and, where required by law, report it to the relevant authorities. This is not a negotiable part of how MITRR works.

MITRR exists to give people a safer place to speak. Protecting that safety β€” for every person who uses this platform β€” is something we take seriously above everything else.

When MITRR isn't available

We do our best to keep MITRR running at all times. Occasionally, things go wrong β€” servers fail, updates are needed, unexpected problems arise. We're a small team and we're human too.

If we're taking the platform down for maintenance, we'll give you notice. If something breaks unexpectedly, we'll fix it as fast as we can. We'll never go quiet on you.

Your words belong to you

MITRR owns the platform β€” the design, the code, the product. But what you say inside it is entirely yours.

Your conversations, your words, your reflections β€” we make no claim over any of it. We don't own it. We don't use it. We don't sell it. It belongs to you, and it stays that way.

If these terms change

If we ever need to update these terms in a way that affects you, we'll tell you directly β€” not bury it in a footer, not hide it in a system notification you'll never read. You'll get a clear message, with enough time to decide if you're still comfortable using MITRR.

Small housekeeping changes β€” fixing a typo, clarifying something that was already true β€” we may make without notice. Anything material, you'll hear about it first.
